Metronome Help PageTeam Method Guitar Metronome Help Metronome: A device used to mark time by means of regularly recurring ticks at adjustable intervals. Musicians use a metronome’s beat to keep a steady tempo whilst playing and practicing music. The Team Method Guitar Metronome is designed using traditional metronome sound and style and allows the user to set a click tempo between 40BPM (Beats Per Minute) and 208 BPM. Not only is tempo displayed in BPM, we have also added the traditional Latin terms that you often see in musical notation, used to suggest playing speed. See the following table used to indicated Latin tempos. Note: ranges are approximate only: Andante: 55 – 65 To use the Team Method Guitar Metronome, click on the ‘Start Metronome’ button on the left hand side of the program window. Adjust the metronome tempo by clicking (and holding) and dragging the red arrow up and down the tempo scale on the right hand side of the program window – release to set the metronome at a desired tempo. Adjust the volume using the slider bar in the left lower corner, marked volume control. Stop the metronome by clicking on the ‘Stop metronome’ button that appears while the metronome is running. To close the program, click on the ‘Exit’ button in the very bottom left corner. Enjoy the staying in time with the Team Method Guitar Metronome!
